Lynn Ford sample chip carvings.
Description
This sample of Lynn Ford chip carvings was found in one of the library's storage units. It was missing a side piece on the left side. We presume it came into the library's collection sometime between 1968-1981 and probably would have been in the director's office as part of the decor.
In 2011, library staff took the sample to a woodworker on Austin Street who replaced the side piece and encased the sample in a shadow box.
It is located beside the staff entrance doors on the lower level inside the Emily Fowler Central Library.
