Description

This long planter made by Lynn Ford is displayed atop the Large Print books at the Emily Fowler Central Library.

The planter was made of basswood around 1968. It has resided in different locations in the library. From 1969 until 2002, it was located in the library director's office where it had been used as a planter. In 2002, the library was renovated and it was placed in storage until 2013. The piece was cleaned and placed on display. It now resides on a credenza behind the reference desk on the upper level.
