Title

Pottery lamps hang from wooden stick suspended ceiling at the Emily Fowler Library.

Description

Ten Beamont Mood ceramic lamps hang from a dropped ceiling. They are a salmon color with an elephant blue glaze, said to be a favorite color of O'Neil Fords.

The area was created during the 1968 expansion of the building.

The suspended ceiling was made from wooden sticks, a design inspired by Finnish architect and designer, Alvar Aalto.
