Red clay planter with bands of dark matte brown and glazed blue and brown.  The planter measures 18 1/4" x 12" x 3/4" . There are three large drain holes that are 1/2" in diameter. <br />

This planter was made by Beaumont Mood at the request of architect O'Neil Ford. We do not know if it was originally in City Hall or the Emily Fowler Library which would make its creation date anywhere from 1965 to 1968.
These Beaumont Mood planters were retrieved from a city storage unit and taken to the Denton Public Library's Special Collections department to be cleaned.

Several views of the Beaumont Mood pottery lamps surrounding the Denton Senior Center. They have since been removed and placed in storage.

Pottery lamp created by Beaumont Mood for O'Neil Ford's municipal swimming pool. It has numerous bands in five different colors and various patterns, including an atomic starburst. <br />
<br />
This particular pottery lamp had once hung under the pergola surrounding the pool, but was used as a replacement for one of the broken pottery lamps. <br />
<br />
It now hangs on the perimeter of the swimming pool.<br />
This style of pottery light had originally hung from the pergola, however, because so many pottery lights around the perimeter were damaged it was removed to replace one of the missing ones.

Two globe-shaped pottery lamps hang from the front of the Denton City-County Library. One hung outside the covered pergola. The other was cream with a possible gray band near the bottom. Both have geometric patterns. <br />

They were designed and made by Beaumont Mood for O'Neil Ford in the late 1960s.

In February of 2024, all of the sconces were removed for cleaning.

A row of globe-shaped pottery lamps made Beaumont Mood hang under the breezeway in front of the entrance of the Denton Civic Center. The lights were commissioned by O'Neil Ford for the new building.

This Beaumont Mood pottery urn was commissioned by O'Neil Ford for the library's 1969 expansion. <br />

It currently lives in the library director's office at the Emily Fowler Library.
