Six brass and tin lamps line the wall into the Denton City Council chambers. Another four can be found in a nearby alcove that overlooks the courtyard. Of the four in the alcove, three of them are smaller and boxy-shaped.
Ceramic light fixtures along the exterior wall of the Denton Civic Center are made from red clay. As they have weathered, they have turned a pinkish-hue. Over the years, some have been broken due to hail or vandalism.
