View of two of the hanging cylinder lamps from the Municipal Pool Building. They both had significant breakage along the top of the fixtures. The breakage was repaired at an unknown time period, using an unknown glue that did not match the original colors.
Two cylinder lamps made by Beaumont Mood for the Denton Municipal Swimming Pool. They were removed and placed in storage after the building was renovated in the 1990s. This picture was taken before they were cleaned in 2022-2023.

This is another close-up photo from a different Beaumont Mood flush-mount light fixture that hung at the Denton Municipal Swimming Pool. It also has geometric patterns and bands of a glossy aqua, orange, medium blue, and elephant gray.
Bands of blue, orange, and cream can be seen on this pottery lamp. The photo was taken just after being cleaned by library staff.

Red clay planter with bands of dark matte brown and glazed blue and brown. The planter measures 18 1/4" x 12" x 3/4" . There are three large drain holes that are 1/2" in diameter. <br /> <br /> This planter was made by Beaumont Mood at the request of architect O'Neil Ford. We do not know if it was originally in City Hall or the Emily Fowler Library which would make its creation date anywhere from 1965 to 1968.
These Beaumont Mood planters were retrieved from a city storage unit and taken to the Denton Public Library's Special Collections department to be cleaned.

Several views of the Beaumont Mood pottery lamps surrounding the Denton Senior Center. They have since been removed and placed in storage.

Pottery lamp created by Beaumont Mood for O'Neil Ford's municipal swimming pool. It has numerous bands in five different colors and various patterns, including an atomic starburst. <br /> <br /> This particular pottery lamp had once hung under the pergola surrounding the pool, but was used as a replacement for one of the broken pottery lamps. <br /> <br /> It now hangs on the perimeter of the swimming pool.<br />
This style of pottery light had originally hung from the pergola, however, because so many pottery lights around the perimeter were damaged it was removed to replace one of the missing ones.

Photo of the ten wall sconces along the inner courtyard of City Hall. The lights are all on because the sun was low in the sky.
These ten wall sconces align the inner courtyard on the west side of City Hall.
They were designed and made by Beaumont Mood for O'Neil Ford in the late 1960s.

In February of 2024, all of the sconces were removed for cleaning.

This photo was taken from the front entrance, looking north towards the parking lot. There is a covered breezeway with several flush-mount pottery lamps made by the Beaumont Mood Lighting Co.
Ten flush-mounted terracotta light fixtures line the underside of the covered breezeway in front of the Emily Fowler Library.

The fixtures were made by Ceramic Design out of San Antonio for the library's 1981 expansion.
