This photograph was taken when Denton's City Hall was built and appeared in the employee city newsletter, The Spotlight. The shot is looking east where the City Manager's office would be.
This set of hand-carved doors is located at the entrance to the Denton City Council Chamber. They were made by Lynn Ford, brother of the architect, O'Neil Ford.
Cast stone sculpture entitled "Ecce Homo" by artist Octavio Medellín.
The sculpture was purchased by the Denton Parks, Recreation, and Beautification Board from the Russell Tether Fine Art Gallery as public art in 2012 at a cost of $5,000.
These ten wall sconces align the inner courtyard on the west side of City Hall.
They were designed and made by Beaumont Mood for O'Neil Ford in the late 1960s.
In February of 2024, all of the sconces were removed for cleaning.
