View of the high and low diving boards at the Denton Municipal Swimming Pool. A girl has just dove off the low dive while a boy on the high dive waits for her to finish. There are other people in line for both boards. A privacy fence is behind them. There are several Beaumont Mood pottery lamps mounted along the fencing.
These two photos of the diving board were taken in the summer of 1983 at the Denton Municipal Swimming Pool.

The front desk of the newly renovated Denton City-County Library, c1969. This photo was taken for the City of Denton newsletter.<br /> <br /> The expansion was completed and the Library re-opened in 1969. Designed by O'Neil Ford, the library featured stick wood carvings by Lynn Ford, brother of the architect, hand-crafted pottery lamps and urns by the Beaumont Mood Lighting Company in San Antonio, Texas, and Mexican Brick made by Acme Brick Company of Denton, who created that particular style and called it Clinton El Ford Blend.<br /> <br /> Decorating the area behind the checkout desk is a Denton County historical map mural by Mrs. Tommye E. Noel, taken from an original by Sena M. Wright.

A sticker on this pottery lamp reads, "Individually handcrafted, 1980 Ceramic Design, San Antonio, Texas 78209." After researching the company's name, we found that Charlene "Charlie" deJori was the artist behind the company.<br /> <br /> This lamp sits atop the paperback shelf in the Emily Fowler Central Library and has never been used. Ten more hang along the outside walk in front of the library.

This is a map of the newly proposed City Park in Denton, Texas. The map was drawn by C. F. Ballard; if you enlarge the image, you can see that it is printed on fabric. The engineer was H. T. Brewster. <br /> There are two creeks, named Cottonwood and Pecan, which flow across the park. There are spots for a tennis court, the Women's Club building, a play field, an "island", a municipal bathing pool with changing rooms, a children's playground, and a wading pool.
