A memorial plaque made of granite is engraved with the following words: Lest We Forget These Fallen Few. Dedicated by the City of Denton Parks Department and 'The Denton County Fallen Soldier's Memorial, 2012.'

One of the original leaded glass windows from the 1948 building was preserved and framed. It no longer hangs over this window, but is temporarily stored.
This leaded glass window was once part of the original library that was built in 1949. During the 2002-2004 renovations, the window was removed and mounted. It now hangs inside the library.

Shot of the joinery in the brickwork on this round community center created by O'Neil Ford. The bricks were custom-made by Acme Brick Co. in Denton and were dubbed, "El Ford."

More seams can be seen around the perimeter.
