Courtyard that is inset on the west side of the Denton Civic Center. A brick hexagon-shaped planter is at the center.

Shot of the joinery in the brickwork on this round community center created by O'Neil Ford. The bricks were custom-made by Acme Brick Co. in Denton and were dubbed, "El Ford."

More seams can be seen around the perimeter.

Two pergolas run along the south-facing side of the Emily Fowler Library. They were added for the 1968 renovation of the library and designed by O'Neil Ford.

One of the original carved doors made for the building by Lynn Ford. It is now located in a foyer inside the building.
These doors were once exterior doors and have been moved into a foyer on the inner part of the inner "u-shaped" area.

From the close-up photos, one can see that they were painted some time ago as the paint is wearing off.

These doors are on the south-facing side of the Civic Center. A covered breezeway protects the top half of the doors from the shade, while the bottom of each door has become bleached and dry. There are holes on each where the original locks were removed; some need to be patched. The weather-stripping at the bottom is coming off.

This long planter made by Lynn Ford is displayed atop a long shelf at the Emily Fowler Central Library.

The planter was made around 1968. From 1969 until 2002, it was located in the library director's office.

This sample of chip carvings was found at the home of former library director, Joella Orr after she had passed away and was given to the library by her daughter. <br />

The left side piece was missing which was replaced. The sample was then put into a shadow box. There are seven chip carvings. The carving measures 8" x 11 1/2" and the frame, 15" x 18 1/2" x 2 1/2".

This handmade brass and tin light is shining brightly on a cloudy day inside Denton City Hall.
Six brass and tin lamps line the wall to the Denton City Council chambers. Another four can be found in a nearby alcove that overlooks the courtyard. Of the four in the alcove, three of them are smaller and boxy-shaped.
